Raymond J. Cannon,
Jr. Attorney Cannon commenced his private practice in 1992. He graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. Attorney Cannon received his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University School of Law and was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 1975.
Mr. Cannon is a member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, a member of the Probate and Tax Law sections of the Massachusetts Bar Association, and a member of the Merrimack Valley Estate Planning Council. As a former member of the Adjunct Faculty at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts, Mr. Cannon taught the Estate Planning course which is part of the Certificate Program for Certified Financial Planners.
Active in the community, Attorney Cannon is a charter member and past president of the Rotary Club of Andover, past secretary of the Andover Coalition for Education and a board member of Challenge Unlimited, Inc.,
Mr. Cannon is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, the Federal District Court, the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court.
Janice Lamm, Paralegal
Janice Lamm has had over 30 years of experience as a paralegal, legal secretary and office manager. Since April, 2000, Ms. Lamm has worked with Attorney Cannon and has acted as paralegal and office manager where she is responsible for client relations, legal research and office management. Prior to joining Attorney Cannon, Ms. Lamm was the paralegal and contracts manager for Whittier Health Network, a privately held organization with over fifty different entities, where she developed and managed the legal department and was responsible for the management and administration of over six hundred contracts.
Ms. Lamm is certified in non-profit management and has extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities in the Adaptive Program at Bretton Woods, New Hampshire and has recently become the Chairperson of Bretton Woods Adaptive, Inc., where she has overall responsibility for managing the year round adaptive sports business at Mount Washington Resort. Ms. Lamm has also been active in the North Andover Music Association where she has served as co-president.
